Schools in Clay County are setting standards and constantly breaking new ground.  Each new year brings a raising of the academic excellence bar..  There are 5 major school systems in the county representing both public and non-public schools.  All are offering high quality education to better suit the individual preferences of parents and students.  Our people care about the education of their children and expect only the very best.  The county school systems have produced a who's who of some of Kentucky's and the nation's finest educators, thinkers, novelist, governors, senators, representatives, and successful entrepreneurs.  Some people have left the area but, are always quick acknowledge their fond Clay County roots and associations.  Here school and family ties run deep and strong giving a sense of belonging that lasts a life time.  We are proud of our school systems.  Listed below are links to the different schools.
